Wizard of Oz… peek a boo card

July 31, 2012 By 8UpScrapin 1 Comment

I bought these Graphic 45 stamps after we took my daughter to see the Wizard of Oz at the Fox in St .Louis MO. , We had such a great time at the show and this was her first time ever seeing the Wizard of Oz , we had 5th row tickets and the tornado scene was so cool , she was in love after that , so to keep our memories I thought it would be fun to make a scrapbook ( not done yet ) .I hear in the Fall a new Wizard of Oz movie will be out and we will enjoy the timeless movie again..There’s no place like home …There’s no place like home ….
cut two 4 1/4 ” by 7″ , score at 1 ” and 1 1/2″ then at 5 1/4 and 5 3/4″ on both pcs , I then cut a window in front with a spellbinder die , I cut a a piece of white cardstock with the same die I used on the front window , this will go inside I stamped the yellow brick road in versamark and embossed it with clear embossing , I then sponged on ink to bring out the yellow brick road  I also sponged green on each side of the road and then stamped green grass along the sides , I the embossed all the images and the colored them with markers , I used a wood background stamp on the from , I cut out all the images , I decided I wanted the lion and the scarecrow inside this card , I made clear tabs to glue my people on so you could not see the tabs , I them added the others to the front , I am done now you move the sides in and out to give the illusion that they are walking down the yellow brick road.
