What Cake ?

January 24, 2018 By 8UpScrapin Leave a Comment

Hello Stampers !!

Today I want to share a card made with a new to me stamp set called What Cake  , by My Style Stamps ( they are no longer in biz ) I say new to me because I bought the stamp used and was not aware it can no longer be bought , but the image was too cute not to make up and then I really wanted to share my card , so my thoughts were to go ahead and post and maybe you can take a image you have and recreate something similar . I am always in need of birthday cards for kids , my daughter is 12 and hands out cards to her friends ,these kids really enjoy getting a handmade card from her that her mom made ( makes me smile that they truly enjoy them ).

my background was made by ink smooching with Tim Holtz Oxide inks and a plastic sheet , I copic colored the image and fussy cut him out and added stickle to the frosting dripping from his mouth , I love this camel and makes me sad that is is no longer available .

inside my card the sentiment is a Woodware craft collections stamp called Most Wonderful Birthday

yep I am not done until every surface has ink , even the envelope

thanks for stopping by my scrappy world
