Unity FWFF – it’ all about change

April 12, 2013 By 8UpScrapin 18 Comments

Hello Stampers !!
Today’s card is a really quick one and I am going to show step by step how I made it .I have been going through change and thought this sentiment was perfect and really spoke to me .. Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over , it became A Butterfly ….. Unity has great stamps
girlfriends 4-18 022 first I stamp my butterfly in brown in and then color it with the colorless blender pen ( Stampin Up )and my color of choice Island Indigo ( SU )
girlfriends 4-18 013make two and cut out and glitter the blue areas
girlfriends 4-18 018girlfriends 4-18 017I used a glitter glue that dries clear , I have a TIP for you that I just learned and I love to pass on good tip , >> Stick your glue pins thru a flower bud and hot glue in and now you wont have to search for your pin its easier to find , I always have pins setting on my desk to re-open glue tips .. hope you try this it’s a great tip !!
girlfriends 4-18 019next we stamp the lt. teal paper ,we want a lighter stamp so first stamp off on a scrap paper and then stamp paper
girlfriends 4-18 016I used my Darice circles interlocked embossing folder , you can skip this step but I think it adds texture and dimension ( top has no embossing bottom does
girlfriends 4-18 021
next stamp sentiment in brown ink , cut out with die and ink the edges with Island Indigo while it is still in die  , this will leave a white frame around the sentiment and give a faux layer look

girlfriends 4-18 014you can add a bow around the lt teal later before you glue it down , but card together
girlfriends 4-18 022girlfriends 4-18 023girlfriends 4-18 024inside I carry the theme
girlfriends 4-18 025Thanks for stopping by , if you have time stop by here on my blog I have a give away going on see details..

I am entering this in Unity Friends with Flair Friday

Happy Stamping scrappy friends
