Tim Holtz Tag #3

December 5, 2011 By 8UpScrapin 1 Comment

Tag three for me is about learning the technique of making your own custom ink pad from felt. I did not have the stamp Tim used on his tag so I used a Christmas collage stamp I had , I think it worked great for this technique . I will be using this method on several  more of my collage stamps , this technique is easier than using markers on your stamp , you can get 20 to 30 stampings off the inking of the felt and no huffing to keeep the stamp moist .

Stamps : Christmas collage from Hobbie Lobby

Cardstock: Kraft , 3 shades of green from my scraps ,black

Ink: Stampin Up and Tim Holtz reinkers , SU old olive , TH pine needles , SY crushed cury , SU Broken China , Th Brushed Corduroy , TH worn lipstick , TH walnut stain

Accessories : MS branch punch , TH flourish die , spellbinders foliage die , handcut holly leaves , pearls and crystals , seam binding ribbon , jute , glue writer pen , ultra fine silver glitter ,white acrylic paint, coffee shop glimmer mist

You are doing a great job on TH tags. I can’t wait to see them in person.
