Hello and thanks for stopping by …
Today’s card is a flip-flop card and they make a die for this but sometime we have to use what we have .Today I will show you how I created this Flip Flop card with SU dies ( can use any thin dies like Spellbinders or Sizzix ) I have on hand.
The card base measure 5″ by 7″ , next your score lines will be 2 3/4″ a nd 3 3/4″ ( you will not score down the whole card m you will only score approx 1″ down , center should not be scored thru )
next find the center of your die of choice ( can use any die for this circles squares , shapes with cut outs ) .I use painter tape to hold my die to my paper it is low tact and can peel off and not harm the paper , you can reuse over and over too ).The center of your die will be on the 2 3/4″ score line
next you will feed thru your big shot and only place your cutting place up to the score line and run thru big shot , it will only cut where the place is
flip you card base and do the same thing
take the tape off and fold card on score line and use bone folder to crisp up the lines , you will have a Z fold , when it closed you see one side , when you open you see the other side of your card , have fun making these .
Supples : SU labels die , SU card stock in crumb cake , SU Beautiful wings embosslits , SU chalk , SU markers in Cherry cobbler and Night if Navy
Stamps : From the Heart , Kindness Maters ,Hello ,Doily BG stamp
I made this card as a Thank you for my Stampin Up demonstrator Carol Payne , I buy all my SU supplies from her , here is the direct link to her site www.carolpayne.stampinup.net her blog is http://www.carolpaynestamps.com/ when I send her my check ,I like to make her a Thank You card to show my appreciation : )
