Hello Scrappy friends !!
Today I have a fun card I made for my monthly card swap group , I am using a digital stamp from Doctor Digi’s house of stamps , he is called Surfin’ Santa these were colored in 4 different color combos using copic markers , this is my first ever Tropical Santa Christmas card , this Christmas card will go to family in those warmer climates.
here is a look at what we are making today
I stamped 4 Surfin’ Santa images to a sheet of 110 lb card stock and copic colored then 4 different color combos , I then fussy cut them all out but not with a pair of scissors but with my Brother SNC
next to make my Glitter splatter background I mixed Aleene’s tack it over and over with water 50 /50 ratio and used a silicon brush to make my glue splatters
next a sprinkle glitter on the glue splatters , these dry pretty fast
next I set them aside to dry
I added the Santa’s with glue dots and then die cut a greeting out of gold foil cardstock
my inside is a die cut sentiment and I used a stamp to make paint splats with TH tumbled glass ink
stamped an envelope to complete my card
complete set
stamp set I used on envelopes MFT
die used inside my card
Thanks for stopping in and checking out yet another Christmas card.
