Quillin like a Villain Challenge # 89

Hello Ai Fans !
Today we are Quilling …what is Quilling you ask ? This is what I found when I googled it .

Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quill to create a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip and these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental patterns similar to ironwork.

Today I made pine cones that I cut with my cricut from the Art Philosophy cartridge from page 69 on font key , hit shift ,
I cut these in 2 sizes 3″ and 2 1/2″ from a core card stock , brown with tan core .I cut sand and bend the tips if the petals back , I then use the quil tool and coil up the pine cone , I make them long and some squatty , I just love making these , they totally add an awesome touch to your project .

My Art Impression stamp I am using are these darling Five Whoots Set sku # 4128 and I used the sentiment ” From Owl of Us ”
I colored them with my copic markers and for the balls on the hats I used Liquid Applique , when you add this and then heat it, it puffs up , now they have fluffy balls on their hats : )

Supplies : Five Whoots set sku # 4128 , Stitched square die from Lil Inker Designs , pine bough die , wood embossing folder , Hero Art background clouds , SU top note die , Liquid applique , Art Philosophy cartridge , SU pool part ink ,copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by now go back and create a Quillin project and link it up to the Art Impressions site for a chance to win free stamps .
