Today is my husbands birthday and I have decided to do a Batman theme ( he loves his comics ) …
his card was cut from the Batman cricut cartridge at 5″ and it can be found on page 58
the back was stamped with a cute set I found at CK convention this year Stamps of Life set called “created 4 you”
next I like to stamp my own wrapping paper , I keep the packing that comes in my Stampin Up orders and then I make my own wrapping paper by stamping it , I did not have a batman stamp so I made my own
I use a product called fun Foam and I tape it to my cricut mat using painter tape *( not so sticky and removes easy )
I found the Batman symbol on page 59 in the Batman Cartridge , I cut this at real dial size 1 1/2 ‘ ( real dial size has to be on or it will cut tiny ) I then use a double stick tape and stick it to my clear block , you now have created your own foam stamp , this will be a solid image and what I was going for , ink it up and stamp randomly on your paper ( I cut my paper to size of package then stamp )
I guess I will have to keep making SU orders so I have plenty of paper to wrap presents , save on paper and cards and spend it on supplies ..hehe )
I wrapped the gift and made a Batman belt to go around his package ( this is his manly bow )
buckle was cut from Fabulous Finds cartridge from page pp , I cut the size I wanted and then cut stripes of paper to fit the buckle ( there is a buckle on page 66 in Batman cartridge too
next i made the envelope from a huge one I had , I cut it down to fit , the sealed the flap and the made my own flap and the stamped the envelope too
Hope you enjoyed my creation and my how too , it really all about using what you have and thinking outside the box , if you don’t have a stamp next time try making your own ..
