May card swaps day 2

May 22, 2012 By 8UpScrapin 1 Comment

This first one was a make n take  , you take 1″ squares punch 5 squares from 5 different papers , on a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card stock run a line of glue runner for first row line one of each different square the one that is at the end of the line is the one you start with next do this until you have 5 rows of 5 , you should see a diagonal pattern in the squares now , then we ran it thru the big shot and cut it out with Stampin Up Top Note sizzix die , then we ran it thru the woven embossing folder from Stampin Up ,the look you get is a great quilt , this was lat of fun and would be a great use of scraps too.

Beautiful!! Love the idea – as scrappy girls, we always have some scraps that need to be used up. The bicycle is delightful – what a fun looking card to give someone.
