MatchBook earring holders

March 14, 2011 By 8UpScrapin Leave a Comment

I made these to show case the earrings and bracelet I designed for our Quarter Auction we are having for Relay for Life for Washington Co. , IL .

you pop them open like you would a MatchBook , and inside it displays the jewelry so awesome

I am able to tuck in my business card behind the jewelry , these will be prizes given away at our event
the base is black cardstock cut at 3″ x7″
Score this @ 1/2″ then @ 3 3/4″ then @ 4″
the inside layer is cut at 3″ x 2 1/2″
fold up bottom edge and slip insert inside add two staples  ( I use Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher )
I used an dedge punch to make a decorated edge to hide the staples in the front ( look at a matchbook to get the general idea
I did a little doodles arond the edge cut a breast cancer ribbon ( ran thru dots embossing folder ) to attach on the front then sprayed the entire outside with my homemade Glimmer mist .
