Handmade flowers

June 27, 2011 By 8UpScrapin 2 Comments

I love making flowers , they are a little time consuming but so worth the results and the bonus is that you can say you made them …
I used a Sizzix die Flower/Daisies , I used Tim Holtz worn lipstick inker and water painted white card stock , yes these flowers started out white , I create each petal and pinch/crimp the lower half of the petal  , I layer 4 big 3 med 2 small together to create this flower , I love to use flowers as my bow and little gift boxes , below I made a pillow box and you can see how pretty it turned out , I hope you try making some flowers , just like nature they are all one of a kind .

Hi Crystal. I just met you yesterday @ Tuesday Mornings. You were telling me about this Sizzix die… now I think I have to have this too! I love how your flower turned out. Beautiful. These would be so much fun to make with the girls for so many projects. Thanks for sharing your talents.I’m so glad I ran into you and now have another blog to check for inspiration. ~CHEERS~
