Halloween Challenge @ Parade your Crafts

Hello Friends !!

It’s Crystal here with a few ideas for Halloween . I started with an awesome paper collection from The Paper Parade’s store called Authentique ‘Thrilling Collection “ , this Halloween paper collection is so vintage, it was in love at first sight and when I sat down to start creating, the ideas and cards were flowing ( love it when the Creative MoJo kicks in ).These papers are double-sided and are the perfect weight and quality for scrapbooking and card making .

My  Collection today

Altered Pumpkin

I took a tall pumpkin and covered it in a tan shimmer tulle , I cut 10 strips of 45″ wide by 3′ , put all the strips together and tied it in center with twine then ran the strips up all the sides and tied it together at the top , I took a green strip of Tulle and made a bow , my roses are cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge at 4″ , they are spiral roses found on page 70 , I cut 4 of these from the Moonlit  paper in this collection ,I inked in TH spiced marmalade ink and then glittered the edges with Dry stickles glitter in diamond , I die cut some leaves and inked in TH Peeled Paint , I crumbled the leave for a tattered look , I attached all with hot glue.

look at this image so vintage , I added dry stickles glitter with glitter glue over the words , a couple of staple from TH tiny attacher , twine and some chipboard stickers from this collection

another cool image from the Mystic  collage paper in this collection , the roses were cut from Die-namics mini rolled roses wafer dies cut from Frenzy  , the flourish is from Die-namics too , cut from the autumn glitter paper , the plaid background paper is the backside of  Antidote   

inside card #2 I used the Thrilling Detail chip board stickers to create my inside sentiment , I thought it went perfect

another great image from the Mystic  collage paper , I glittered the branches and leaves , made my own candy dots , made a banner and used the Elements Cardstock Stickers  from this collection and I added twine
