Hello friends, today a I am sharing with you how I make my own enamel dots , there are so many pre-made dots on the market and the gels to make your own direct to your card and I use these but by far my favorite are the ones I make myself , I have certain cardstock colors from Bazzill that are my favorite and I use alot and I really like to match my dots to my cardstock colors to make them look even more cohesive , they will always match if they are made from the colors you always use , so lets get started and ill show you step by step on how I make these .
I used a punch such as Stamping Ups owl punch or my new fave is the confetti circles punch from EK Success or any small circle punch you may have
so I punch two sizes i used alot of Bazzill Candy hearts and Robins egg and wax lips to these are the colors I will make today
next I use a 6 mmm ball stylus and a molding mat to cup all my dots , all you do it=s run the stylus in circles on the paper dot and it will start to cup below the one on the left is done the right one is flat , this gives your dot dimension , then i put the domed dot on top of a glue dot and do this til you have a full page , the glue dots are on sticker paper , once the labels or stickers are used i recycle my papers to make my enamel dots on .. look here on how I make my own glue dots
next I add Crystal lacquer or glossy accents to the top of my dots , add a dots to middle and in a circular motion draw it out to the edge but not past the edge , the blue are done the pink are not can’t you see how much pop the gloss adds
here I am showing some new drops called NuVo Crystal drops I bought recently but the still don’t match exact and I will use these as accents to my dots I make
here are the wax lips color from bazzill , I made two sheets of dots in no time using scrap card stock , now if I were to buy these dots this many would run 20 bucks , now I can save my money for fun stuff like stamps and dies hehe .. yes there is a means to my madness plus I just like to challenge myself to make my own embellishments it so fun …
here are my dots in use

Thanks Evelyn. I had the same question.
Great idea. Are the glue dots still wet when you place the cardstock on them?
no the glue dots are completely dry when i put the cardstock pcs on them , you may do the same with store bought glue dots I just like to make my own , I go thru so many .
