# 101 “Behind the Mask” – Masking Techniques

Hello Ai fans !!
Today is a fun challenge , masking open a whole new world to your stamps , you can turn a simple image into a complete scene.

Today I am going to walk you thru how I made this card , first I chose Pearl sku # 1701  , she is bent over with her water can , so I created a garden for her to water. I love her bloomers , I stamped her mid way down the page in the center
Ai challenges 2-21 mask and 2-28 wobble 001next I stamped her on a pc of scrap and cut her out , this is now my mask , I add repositionable Elmer’s glue stick( this will hold mask in place and you can take off later )
Ai challenges 2-21 mask and 2-28 wobble 003next I stamp flowers all around her(the flower stamp was a random stamp I had sitting on my desk any flower stamp will work )

Ai challenges 2-21 mask and 2-28 wobble 005next I color my creation with my copic markers
